Vantor has activated its Open Data Program for Hurricane Melissa, which has had a devastating impact across the Caribbean.

We have been collecting high-resolution satellite imagery of Jamaica, Cuba, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic, and we are making pre- and post-event imagery available for free to help accelerate response, relief, and recovery efforts across the region.

How to access: Go to our Discover portal and click the "Open Data" button on the left-hand navigation menu.

Permissive licensing: This imagery is made available under a Creative Commons 4.0 license for easy integration into existing applications.

We are continuing to collect post-event imagery in the coming days, and new imagery will be uploaded to the Discover portal as it is processed.

This imagery can be used by frontline organizations and geospatial community members to map changes on the ground and identify the most severely impacted areas, helping ensure resources are allocated quickly and effectively.
